My Latest and Greatest Project

It was time to transform baby girls room into something more suitable for a growing girl.  I have the best friends and husband who helped paint, refinish furniture and all the other fun stuff.  Her favorite part of her new bedroom...her desk!  And it's not just any desk.  My neighbor's dad was my friend and a patient of mine years ago.  Delmar was spunky, funny and a little (ok a lot) mischievous.  He made this desk for my friend when she was 9.  It's a special piece to have.  Now I only have like 8 more rooms in our house to get done. 😁

Soccer Mom

Yep, that's me.  

I've been the admin for our club soccer Utah Rangers FC.  I've taken care of the finances, paid refs, printed too many rosters to count, answered endless questions and even had a few parents yell at me from time to time.  It's kind of a thankless job but somehow I

love it.  I love the boys.  I enjoy seeing each one of them work hard and develop.  I like what's happening on our team.  They are starting to trust one another and have a real synergy on the field.  I got this text from a mom the other night.  It made me laugh!  This little jewel makes all those admin duties totally worth it!  Can't wait for next season to start!! 😉

Merraki

We spent the evening with the wonderfully talented Rebecca Walters with Merraki Photography last night.  I'm blown away at her eye for detail!  It's going to be hard to choose which ones I like the best!  When I look at these, I'm reminded of the true blessings my 15 year marriage to Justin has brought into my life.  I'm so in love with him and with our 3 beautiful children.  I think it shows in these photos.

In Awe...

I often wonder how it is that I got to be the one to love, nurture and raise these amazing souls.  In reality I know I learn far more from them than they do from me.  They fill my days with such joy and happiness.  Glad it was me that they get to call mom. #lovebeingtheirmom #blessed @theisaacinator @abbyahgiggles

Spring Piano Recital

Look at these cute boys!  They've worked hard all year learning and plunking away on those piano keys.  Isaac chose "Summertime Blues" for his recital piece and Ethan performed "Ode to Joy".  Aren't they smart and handsome young men?  Love them so.

Everything is AWESOME!!!!

Wow!  You could say that was quite a blogging sabbatical I took!  I started a new job (and kind of a new life), my camera got left on a flight to KC never to be found again :( and I ran out of storage space on my blog.  All cause for me to pause, settle into my new career and enjoy life!  But I'm back!  And next week is #teacherappreciation week!  I've got the best helper ever @theisaacnator (isn't he the cutest? all the girls in 5th grade think so) and we kicked things off with and EPIC decorated classroom door for Mr. C!  Everything is indeed "Awesome"!!!!
