I love living in this country.
Today and always, I have gratitude for the many rich and wondrous things we may experience in our lives as Americans.
I am in awe of the ability to share these things with my children.
I cherish those who love me and I love them right back!

ESPECIALLY this one right here, she's always at the top of my list!

Freaky Friday

Guess Who Ended up in the ER?
It was a DOOZY I tell ya....
I got a call at the office at 4:55 from a frantic sitter who announced that the little outlaw had just gotten into a fight with his Pirates of the Caribbean television....
leaving a large hole in his forehead.
5 stitches later and much laughter, the lad was all better.
The attending physician spoke in "pirate" the entire time and it was great.
You need to know again that Ethan means "great warrior".
The kid doesn't feel pain.
He just smiles the entire time....
happy to finally have a war story all his own!
Upon leaving, Super Doc announced that "if the wound became red or swollen to give him a call back, but most importantly if maggots started to come out of the wound...that then we would know for CERTAIN that Ethan was indeed a hooligan!"
Love that guy!
