I cannot think of a better way to have spent the last day of official summer, before school started.... This is another well kept Utah county secret. It's such a beautiful place for a family outing!

School Days....

That looks like one excited 2nd Grader.....

A late sleeper and her bed head, such as the life of a princess....

I smell a mischievous 1st grader....

Cute, Sweet, Perfect Kids....

Ready to learn (and make a fashion statement with polka dot socks)....

And a mom who's happy to have such amazingly smart children....

Can't you just feel the anticipation?

It's off to School they go....

It Was A "HOOT" Of A Time!

Great night for burgers, foot long dogs, cracker jacks, sodas, chips, red vines, ice cream & some baseball. I think we ate ourselves to death!

How We Spent Our Saturday....

Mr. Ethan AKA Buddy of the Year and I awoke at the crack of dawn
(he was the only little minion I could arouse)
and helped officiate at the BYU track for the
Provo Masters Challenge.

It was a great day filled with exciting stuff. We watched a 70 year old run the 1500 Meters and someone in their 80's throw the discus!
It's fun to think about my glory days on the track and share those with my kids.
If you can't find me, I'll be running all over Provo spreading good cheer to the senior athletes in all the events this week.

Recipe of the Week

Summer Tortellini Cesar Salad

Boil 1 package Burtolli Three Cheese Tortellini until al dente
(Rinse in cold water and set aside until cool)
Chop 2-3 Heads of Romaine Lettuce
Add Bacon, Croutons, Sliced Roma Tomatoes, and Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Mix In the tortellini and toss in Cesar dressing

It's a great Summer Meal!
