Tiny Dancers & Sugarplum Fairies

Abby had her in class recital for her ballet class last week.
It was so cute to see all the little girls dance around to 'The Nutcracker'.
She is definitely the class clown.
They are preparing for their fist big recital 'Sleeping Beauty' in the Summer and if she keeps it up, I think she'll get to be a tree or something. :)

Flashback Friday

Christmas 2000 with the Richmonds, our bffs
This was the year that kitty played in the garland on the fireplace and knocked down my favorite, beautiful mirror that we had gotten as a wedding gift. I came home and there was shattered glass and evergreen needles all over the living room. Ahhh, good times!

Christmas Cookies

I can't think of 3 "sweeter" girls I would rather spend the afternoon with making Christmas Cookies.

Signs of the Season

Justin and I went on a date HERE and HERE this weekend and were reminded of the true reason for this holiday season. If you haven't gone...you should.
It's inspiring.

Guilty...

It's True, I'm Addicted to this cute little white kitty.

I remember as a child, my mom would fill my stocking full of all things Hello Kitty.
I have a Hello Kitty bathrobe, pajamas, coin purse, earrings, socks just to name a few.
One of the greatest moments of my life was discovering the Hello Kitty store in Times Square while visiting New York last year.
In the top drawer of my desk at my office you can find a jumbo HC Calculator that I have had for years. Clients often comment on it when I whip it out to do their bill.
I was at a professional meeting several months ago and forgotten my business cards and wrote my name and number on a piece of Hello Kitty paper from the notepad in my purse. The lady I was giving my number to laughed and commented how that must belong to my little girl.
NOPE, It was mine all mine.
I never thought of this as a problem until I came to work with my lunch in a HC lunch bag this week and I became the laughing stalk of the girls in the office.
Truth is, I don't really care.
Laugh all you want.
She and I will be friends forever.

Blissful.

It's the only word I have to describe yesterday...and I'm not talking about the cinnamon rolls.
Thank you to everyone who made it extra special for our Isaac.
We love you!

See What I Mean?

I told you yesterday that little family grew, and grew and grew into this wonderful group of human beings! Can you believe it?

These were taken just a few years ago on my baptism day. Today is Isaac's special day and many of them will join us for a fun day of family festivities. We will miss you Amy and Celeste. Love you guys so much!

All 23 Hill Cousins (and now there's even one more)
How TOTALLY Blessed are we?

Flashback Friday

Look at this cute little family.
I say little because it grew and grew after this.
Can you guess who is who?
I'll give you a clue.
I love all of them.
Especially that cute little blondie in the right hand corner.

He's a KEEPER!

Tightie Whities

Note: Mr. Hill informed me that I was not permitted to upload photos of the following event. I know that he's right but there were some cute buns streaking about in our house last night! I couldn't help but want to capture the moment.

We had a visit from our Primary President last night. She was just stopping by to make sure Isaac is all ready for his big baptism day on Saturday and to see if he had any questions. She also kindly reminded him to wear white underwear under his white jumper. I was grateful for the reminder but soon realized that none of our boys own a pair of
white undies
. They have always been boxer guys. I had to go out for a meeting and stopped by the store to acquire such undergarments. Upon arriving at home I presented the "Tightie Whities" to Isaac. Those boys then proceeded to run around the house in their new underwear, squealing and laughing and wearing it on their buns and their heads. We had a heck of a time getting them calmed down for bed.
Who knew one little pack of white underwear could create so much joy?
