This is what I do when you've really made me MAD!

....so grateful one of my parents had a sense of humor enough to capturing one of many million pouts I have had.

Let the Poor Parenting Begin....

On Tuesday Nights At Least!
Mr. Hill has turned me into a tv junkie.
I let him....
I remember the days when I use to read and craft and stay on top of my chores.
Now all I can think about it my comfy bed with memory foam and down pillows and the television.
Many days I can hear my bed calling my name....
We didn't start watching 'LOST' until last year.
We spent 4 months non-stop catching ourselves up.
At 2 a.m. on a work night he would ask, "want to watch another?"
I couldn't say no.
It was worth suffering through the next day sleep deprived to know what happened.
I love it, though I am "lost" myself at times.

So In Love....With this Tiny Dancer

I could have never imagined being the mother of such a beautiful girl.
One the giggles almost as much as she breathes.
One whose soul sings a beautiful tune to all those around her.
One that loves her life filled with as much mac and cheese as they eye can see.
One that would rather dance more than anything.
"Abby" means "father's joy".
It should mean "joy to all".

We're Not As Dumb As We Seem....

Funny story from the weekend.....
Abby decided to lock herself in OUR bedroom....
Not once, not twice but three times!
Oh, I haven't heard papa bear this angry in awhile.
I think we both kept thinking the more we yelled and the more we used our "mean" voices that she would listen. That approach clearly didn't work.
I think I may have even heard little giggles from the other side of the door.
She's SNEAKY, that one...
Papa Bear had to go to his tool box more than once and use his tools to remove the door knob.
This reminds me of a story about 2 years ago when she did this in the basement bathroom just after we moved into our new house.
I could just hear her playing, splashing so happily in the toilet on the other side of the locked door.
We're going to have to figure something out to fix this little problem we seem to be experiencing....

I have this quote in my kitchen and it's one of my favsies.
Isaac brought this beauty home from school the other day.
He is a mighty good poo picker upper.
Apparently he doesn't enjoy himself at all though.
And it's CLEAR that it is a stinky job (as indicated by the squiggly lines)

Have I Ever Told You....

Just how much I adore this band?
I can't stop listening to this album, and all their others.
They seriously do not have a song I dislike.
Good Times....
I hope they come to SLC soon.

The Lost Photos of New York!

Just when you thought we were done with all this...I found more!
Truth is, I cannot stop thinking about how brilliant this experience was.
I want to go back, I want to go back, I want to go back!~
Actually, it's 1 a.m. and I'm still up.
I caught myself looking at these photos for the millionth time....
I was naughty and stayed up and watched a movie with my boyfriend.
Now, I'm creeped out and can't sleep.
Or, maybe I'm a little excited that all of our house guests arrive tomorrow for Sundance.
Our house has never been so clean.
Anyway.....

I Keep Hearing the Same Question.....

And it goes something like this:

"Mom, when is it going to be Summer again?"

We had this discussion on the way home from Church on Sunday.
Then we all dreamed about the fun ways we spend the Summer time as a family.
Things Like:

Roller blading up Provo Canyon and playing in the Falls
Fishing at Vivian Park
Laying on the porch swing and napping and eating otter pops
Eating Watermelon until our tummy's hurt
Camping in Hobble Creek
Swimming up Spanish Fork Canyon
Mountain Biking in Moab
Playing Night Games
Playing in the Irrigation Fields on Irrigation Day

And the list goes on, and on, and on....
Oh dear Summer, Please get here SOON!

As promised...and to make your "Monday" a little better...here's a HIGHLY medicated me just after my last surgery a few weeks ago.
After about 10 minutes of this, Jus decided to get the camera out and rolling.
I can't help but laugh at myself. I was seriously having some issues, slurred speech and all.

Sledding With Cousins!!!!

I am most grateful for the wonderful cousins our kids have.
Justin and I agree that some of our best childhood memories are those days spent playing with our cousins. It's fun to watch our kids make those same memories with their cousins. Christmas Break was an awesome time for all of them to play and have sleep overs!
Thanks to Aunt April and Aunt Nicole for this little adventure!

Did I ever tell all of you how grateful I am to have a hubby who keeps my I-Pod up to date with the latest and greatest music? It's one of the many wonderful things he does for me...
I got him a new I-Phone for his Christmas/B-day present....
The thought never occurred to me that I would gain his old I-Phone (and all the awesome apps he has on it) in the process and the kids would in turn get my old I-Pod.....See how it works, everyone's happy!
Now I can lay in bed and blog, check facebook, pay bills, listen to music, and play my FAVORITE GAME PEGGLE!
