Recipe of the Week

My Very Own Corn Chowder
WHAT? Snow in Utah...today? Yes I say. That made it a SOUP day.
We even skipped soccer, too weak to braze the cold. LAME....I know..
It's 80 degrees in Missouri for peat's sake!


Start with 2T chicken bullion, 2 C water, 3 peeled and thinly sliced potato pieces, 1 chopped stalk of celery, 1 t chopped onion and 1/4 C bacon bits.
Bring to a boil until potatoes and celery are tender.
Add 3 C Corn and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add 4-6 cups milk (depending on desired thickness)
Whisk in 2T flour and stir.
Simmer about 10 minutes.
